About Cast Iron Manhole Covers
A cast iron manhole cover securely closes inspection chambers on sewer, stormwater, telecom and power infrastructure under traffic load. Its high load capacity and long service life make it the preferred choice of municipalities and contractors for urban roads.
The first selection criterion is the EN 124 load class: B125 for footpaths and car parks, C250 for kerbside zones, D400 for carriageways. The second is the clear opening; 600 mm is the common size for man access.
We cast round, square and rectangular bodies with gasketed and hinged variants at our Istanbul plant and ship throughout Türkiye. Every product page includes a dimension table, weight and a technical drawing.
