Cast Iron Channel Gratings

A cast iron channel grating sits over roadside drainage channels, collecting stormwater while transferring vehicle loads to the ground through its frame. Ductile iron (GGG50) offers higher strength and a lighter body than grey iron.

Select by channel width, EN 124 class (B125 pedestrian, C250 streets, D400 highways) and slot geometry, which sets intake capacity. Narrow-slot models suit cycle paths.
