About Convex Type Gratings
The convex surface sits slightly proud of road level; water enters from all sides while leaves are swept aside by the flow, so the grating clogs far later than flat types.
Preferred in parks, gardens and squares with heavy leaf fall. Where vehicles pass, use a flat D400 grating instead.
