About Round Manhole Covers
A round manhole cover cannot drop through its own frame at any angle, which is why it is the standard for sewer and drinking-water inspection chambers. Covers are supplied complete with frames.
Choose D400 for carriageways, B125/C250 for footpaths and parking. A 600 mm clear opening is standard for man access; gasketed and bolt-locked variants are available.
